Abigail Askar, PTA

Arlette Askar goes by her middle name Abigail or preferably Abby. Abby was born in Fort Worth, TX but moved to Mexico City as a baby and lived there for 12 years until she relocated back to her native state, Texas. Abby graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2018 with a BS degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. Upon graduation, Abby worked as a physical therapy technician/aide for 6 months to further obtain patient experience before attending PTA school. Abby also worked as an Oncology Exercise Specialist at a non-profit organization where she not only helped cancer survivors, but also pre and post liver transplant patients achieve optimal functional mobility and endurance to promote an overall better recovery experience. In December 2020, she graduated from Concorde Career College with an AS honors degree for Physical Therapist Assistant. Abby has experience working in multiple outpatient settings ranging from general orthopedic and geriatrics to women’s health conditions. Abby is a compassionate and hardworking individual who values a multimodal rehabilitation approach to best address patient’s needs.

Abby recently moved to Rockwall from Dallas and got married in May 2021. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks, watching movies and travelling.
