Brooks J. WestPT, DPT, CSCS
Brooks J. West, PT, DPT, CSCS, is a 2016 graduate of Texas Woman’s University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Brooks has a contagious love of learning and sharing knowledge, which translates into great relationships with patients under his care. A former military linguist, Spanish teacher and small business owner, Brooks goes the extra mile to understand his patients’ challenges and goals, crafting a plan of care to meet their needs. His goal is to help patients recover pain-free movement so they can return to what they love to do. He employs a balanced treatment approach that incorporates a strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques, combined with focused exercise to achieve optimal results. Brooks uses dry needling, joint mobilizations, manipulations, and soft tissue techniques to help his patients achieve their highest level of pain-free function as possible. He has worked extensively with post-operative patients, patients suffering from neck and low back pain, a variety of shoulder and knee pathologies, and patients injured on the job. A huge sports fan and University of Texas at Austin alumnus, he plays basketball and soccer and loves languages, philosophy, and music ranging from Ray Charles to Tom Petty.
