Lauren Perez grew up in Plano, Texas, and after high school, she went on to Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. At Texas A&M, Lauren was actively involved in a pre-medical society and a women’s organization, participated in neuroscience research, and volunteered at local hospitals.

After graduating in 2020, she returned to Plano and worked as a Patient Care Technician in the Orthopedic Surgical Trauma department at Medical City McKinney, where she developed a strong interest in orthopedics.

In 2022, Lauren moved to Tampa, Florida, to pursue a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Her passion for orthopedic surgery only deepened during her time in PA school.

Outside of her studies, Lauren loves playing sand volleyball, traveling, cheering on Aggie football, and spending quality time with friends and family.
