Ali Elaydi, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas, serving patients in Rockwall, Wylie and Forney Texas. He specializes in spinal surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive techniques designed to reduce pain, speed recovery, and restore function.
Dr. Elaydi believes that surgery should always be a last resort. His treatment philosophy emphasizes conservative, evidence-based care whenever possible, with the goal of helping patients achieve meaningful pain relief and improved quality of life. He treats a wide range of spinal conditions involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including myelopathy, degenerative disc disease, and spinal deformities.
A Texas native, Dr. Elaydi grew up in Arlington and earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity University, where he also played collegiate football. He completed medical school at Texas A&M University, graduating at the top of his class. His academic performance earned him a highly competitive orthopaedic surgery residency at Yale University, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and was selected for the AOA Leadership Forum. He went on to complete advanced spine fellowship training at the historic Leatherman Spine Center, working under pioneers in spinal surgery.
Dr. Elaydi has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has delivered national podium presentations. He is committed to staying at the forefront of spinal care by incorporating the latest research, technology, and surgical techniques into his practice.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Elaydi enjoys mission work, fitness, and traveling.
