Job Title: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner-RNFA
Job Summary: Provide healthcare services such as conducting complete exams, providing treatment, and counseling patients, under the supervision of a Physician.
Reports to: CEO / Physician
Responsibilities:
- Provides and performs comprehensive medical services under the supervision of a physician.
- Interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Formulating a treatment plan for Orthopedic problems within scope of practice.
- Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions when appropriate. Exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising Orthopedic surgeon or other health care professionals.
- Perform follow-up post operative calls in addition to call backs to patients who require additional communication outside of the standard visit.
- Lead physician team to ensure high level of customer service is achieved within the scope of an orthopedic clinic.
- Perform procedures, and studies to include but not limited to blood and tissue specimens along with minor outpatient surgical procedures. Ordering or performing diagnostic studies.
- as well as brace, cast, and splint applications.
- Assist in surgery to include but not limited to first assist, deep and superficial tissue closures, application of appliances and any other action delegated by the surgeon.
- Conduct hospital rounds, write orders, and take calls for the Orthopedic surgeon only when needed.
- Order, prescribe, dispense, and administer Medication, orthosis, orthotics, braces, and other Orthopedic devices as may be allowed by state legislation.
- Provide athletic event and sports weekend clinic coverage as determined by employer and management committee.
- Maintain in good standing with TMB, Malpractice, and other entities are determined by employer.
- Perform Telemedicine visits at the request of the patient and/or physician.
- Develop and maintain relationships with medical staff at credentialed facilities.
Skills
- Must have a Texas License and the required training skill.
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy, and recovery.

Job Title: Licensed Physical Therapist / Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary: The Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant will provide a hands-on approach to patient care and perform in accordance with the Physician orders and plan of care.
Reports to: Director of Physical Therapy
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate patient’s physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
- Treatment and Education: Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain. Educate patients and families to aid recovery, prevent injuries, and offer guidance on home routines and lifestyle changes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
- Physical: Lift, push and pull objects and patients to aid in patient care, safety, and exercise progression.
- Teamwork: Work as a team to achieve highest quality of care for all patients in both a professional and friendly environment
- Compliance: Comply with federal, state, and local professional requirements, including, but not limited to the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality by compliance with patient rights
- Work Environment: Create a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies and procedures and helping staff at all levels when patient care is needed.

Requirements:
- Active Texas Physical Therapy License
- Current BLS Certification
- Open to both experienced candidates and recent graduates

Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Summary: Clinical assistant who supports the work of the Physicians, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, and other health professionals in a clinic setting.
Reports to: Director of Operations
Responsibilities:
- Verifies patient information while rooming and recording medical history in the EMR system, confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, prepare injections and ultrasound.
- Cast and Splints as needed.
- Communicates and transmits physician orders and questions about their visits and surgery.
- Maintains and follows protocol for DME products and Injectables; ensuring that money is not lost by giving away these items without pre-authorization or documentation.
- Answers messages and tasks in a timely manner; refilling prescriptions when ordered by physicians.
- Maintains safe, secure, and a healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, maintains supply needs to DOO.
- Helps to streamline processes in the back office to formulate teamwork and better communication channels.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Perform X-rays as directed (if NCT)
- Floating between assigned clinics as needed
- Other duties assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Medical Terminology
- Excellent Interpersonal, Organizational and customer service skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Basic understanding of patient care
- Certified Medical Assistant [if applicable]
